leg veins treatment Before and After photos

Embarrassed to wear mini skirts or shorts because of leg veins? Well, don't worry because cellite clinic has the latest technology to treat them effectively.

What is ND-YAG laser treatment?
ND-Yag laser is a non-surgical office procedure that can treat most diseased surface veins from 1mm to 3 mm in diameter. The laser energy fired will be absorbed by the blood in the vessels which in turns damages the veins walls.

What causes vein problems?
Veins carry blood to the heart through one-way valve systems. When there is a weakness in the vein or a faulty valve, the valve stretches and no longer closes properly. The veins become filled with blood that cannot flow normally, causing pain, swelling, discoloration, sores that will not heal, blood clots and other problems.

Treatment
You may need several laser sessions for any vein region, lasting about 20 minutes each time. Generally normal activities can be resumed after the treatments and in fact we advise that you are mobile for a couple of hours post treatment. We recommend that you purchase from your local pharmacy grade 2 compression stockings and continue to wear the stockings during the day for a few weeks at least. If you continue to wear compression stockings for the long term this may slowdown the recurrence of the veins. After the treatment there will be some swelling normally lasting no more than 24 hours. Blistering or scarring and other complications are rare.
