As well as an effective cellulite treatment, Endermologie® is used by women and men to lift and shape the buttocks, smooth out love handles or saddlebags, and firm up skin that has sagged after childbirth or weight-loss.
You will wear a tight opaque body stocking and lie down on the treatment bed as the therapist uses a hand-held massaging head that sucks, rolls and massages the skin. The idea is to mobilise the toxins and fluids that are trapped within pockets of fatty tissues that cause cellulite, smooth out the fatty skin layer and boost lymphatic drainage. Treatments normally last about 35 minutes.
Although it is intense, it should never hurt. Most people find the Endermologie® treatment relaxing as the suck and roll motion of the treatment feels like a deep body massage.
Results will start to be evident from the seventh cellulite treatment session onwards. Treated areas will feel firmer and smoother. The number of treatments required to get to the desired results will depend on the severity of the cellulite and the age and lifestyle of the patient.
Results can take time and commitment to achieve. After your initial course of Endermologie® treatments, you may find that one or two monthly sessions are sufficient to maintain the effects.
